OpenDORS
The DORS program brings students of all ages, together to engage in unique Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics projects in a cohesive, rigorous and culturally competent STEM centered program. Students work in teams and/or individually to explore playlists as assigned by their teacher or follow their own interests. Each DORS playlist includes specifically selected online resources to enhance learning. Activity instructions and materials are also available for hands on learning projects that connect the online world to the real one.
The DORS curriculum is accessed on the Edmodo online platform. Edmodo provides and easy way for teachers to provide students with links to DORS resources and for students to communicate and collaborate with each other. Teachers, students and parents may sign up for a free account at Edmodo.com.

The Digital One Room Schoolhouse is a collaboration of educators and communities, working together to empower families of 21st Century Learners. Hundreds of teachers, scientists and volunteers, review and create curriculum, grade student lessons, collaborate online and in the classroom* with learners. Our ‘Table Teams’ collaborate online as a professional learning communities, building future learning and bringing it back to their districts from across the country.

Teachers use DORS as part of a blended learning classroom. They can choose from a list of prepared lesson that related to classroom instruction. Or they may assign playlists based on students interests or classroom projects.

Elm HubOur elementary Hub brings math to life with age appropriate games and activities centered on preparing young minds for algebra down the line.
